by LCGOP September 24, 2009

(Lincoln,NE) At their county convention held Tuesday evening, delegates of the Lancaster County Republican Party unanimously elected Paul Zoz as the new Lancaster County Republican Party Chair. Joe Murray was re-elected as secretary and Faith White was re-elected as Treasurer.

After his election, Zoz stated, “there is great opportunity for Republicans to advance our message of smaller government, lower taxes, fiscal conservatism, and personal responsibility. Government is out of control and we need to rein it back.”

Zoz will serve for the next two years and during this time there will be a number of local and statewide elections. “The Lancaster County Republican Party is here to motivate and encourage not only Republican voters and candidates, but also those voters who feel disenfranchised with our current political climate. We hear those of you who are discouraged about high property taxes, fearful about having healthcare options limited, and just plain angry about too much government control. We believe in government by the people and for the people.”
