Joe Kelly Announces Endorsements

by LCGOP January 29, 2010

Joe Kelly, Candidate for Lancaster County Attorney announced today that his campaign has received endorsements from the Lincoln Police Union and the State Troopers Association of Nebraska (Headquarters Troop).

The Lincoln Police Union represents approximately 266 commissioned officers and sergeants in the Lincoln Nebraska Police Department.

The State Troopers Association of Nebraska (Headquarters Troop) has been representing the personnel of the Nebraska State Patrol since it began in the 1970’s.  The Association was formed after troopers across the State wanted to create a group that unified the idea of socialization, camaraderie and brotherhood.

“I have had the opportunity over the last 24 years to work with many State Troopers and Lincoln Police officers, these law enforcement professionals are on the front lines working to keep the citizens of Lincoln and Nebraska safe each and every day, as well as assisting the County Attorney’s office in prosecuting individuals so that citizens are not in harm’s way.  I am extremely proud to have the support of the members of these groups of law enforcement professions,” Kelly said.
