Lincoln, Nebraska –We are pleased to announce a Tax Day Rally on April 15. The rally will be held on Centennial Mall, just north of the State Capitol from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Immediately following the rally, complimentary food and beverages will be served at the Ridnour Room located at 809 P Street. There will also be a free showing of the Tea Party Movie. Key speakers at the rally will include Governor Dave Heineman, State Senator Tony Fulton, City Councilman Adam Hornung and Lincoln businessman Kyle Kollmorgen.
Paul Zoz, Chairman of the Lancaster GOP, stated that “Nebraska has been a model state when it comes to holding the line on tax increases by cutting spending. That simply is not the case at the federal level. I want to emphasize that this event is not just for Republicans. I encourage all citizens to join us and let our voices be heard. It’s about being an American. It’s about being a Nebraskan. With our State’s reputation tarnished by Ben Nelson and the Cornhusker Kickback, we want to send a clear message to Washington that we don’t want them spending more borrowed money from China. We don’t want them continuing to take away our freedoms. “
