Let Your Voices Be Heard! LCGOP Townhall Meeting

by LCGOP January 12, 2010

The Lancaster County Party will be hosting a public Townhall meeting to discuss the tough issues facing the country from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Waverly at the Trackside Bar and Grill, 13800 Guilford Street.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a social hour from 6:00PM to 7:00PM for citizens to get a chance to get to know elected officials and candidates. This will be followed with a town hall discussion from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with 14 elected officials and candidates including Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy and Secretary of State John Gale.

This is the start of a new Lancaster County Republican Party policy to hold monthly townhall meetings in different areas of the county. County Chairman Paul Zoz said, "Our State’s reputation has been tarnished by Ben Nelson’s Cornhusker Kickback. I pledge the Lancaster County Republican Party is going to listen to the people. We will do our best to set an example that will reflect the honesty and integrity that the people deserve from their leaders."

Questions should be directed to the Lancaster County Republican Party at 525-4845 or
